Further Youmacon News

Posted in Grumblings on October 30, 2011 by chemiclord

My panel time along with Fred Gallagher has been confirmed as 9:00-11:00 am Saturday, November 5th, in the Renaissance Center main ballroom.  Nice big venue; should be a fun experience for everyone involved.

It’s possible I might get drafted into other panels in the convention, but that’s probably going to be a spur of the moment decision.  I’ll likely be at the MegaTokyo booth for the majority of the time otherwise… wherever that proves to be.

Exiern

As has finally become official, I have taken over for Drowemos as the writer and creative mind behind the Exiern webcomic.

It’s a bit of a big step for me (and will probably slow production of my novels and whatnot… but I gave up meeting those deadlines anyway), but I’ve been told I’m up to the challenge, and will do justice to the story while giving it a different direction and style.

I guess I should choose to believe it.

What to Talk About?

Posted in Grumblings on October 2, 2011 by chemiclord

Supposedly, keeping an active blog is a good way to keep readership.  I want to keep readers.

But at the same time, I really don’t have any news to report.  Work on The Endtimers’ Legacy continues, albeit slowly.  Work on MegaTokyo: Endgames continues, albeit slowly.  I’ve already noted that I’m going to Youmacon, nothing has really changed on that score.  There are other things that are happening, but I’m not comfortable talking about them yet.

I have no intention of turning this blog into my personal venting pulpit… I still am rather disappointed in myself that I did so once, and I’m not going to again.

I’m really against wasting people’s time with vapid blog posts that don’t give anything of substance… and yet here I am wasting people’s time with nothing of substance.

I’m sorry.  I’m pretty much terrible.
